Fishing:
I have chosen fishing as my activity to promote. I wanted to promote something that was unique to Wellington as well as NZ Culture. Because Wellington is the Capital and is an ideal tourist destination this is an activity for locals as well as tourists. Although art is an iconic part of Wellington, I wanted a water based activity because the Wellington region is entirely surrounded by water and filled with bays and rivers and beaches ideal for water sports and fishing. From fishing and swimming, I thought that swimming is not strictly Wellington Culture and although fishing is a nation wide activity there are a vast range of fishing sights unique to Wellington Region worth exploring and Publicising. My Three sights Petone Wharf, Makara Bay, Pukerua Bay.
